When can you visit Goolabri?

Goolabri is a private property and welcomes guests by appointment or invitation only.
As there is no reception desk on site, we kindly ask that you contact us in advance if you would like to speak with management or arrange a visit. Otherwise, you can visit Goolabri on the following occasions:

Venue Tours, by Appointment

Hosts of private events are invited to book a place on one of our venue tours to see Goolabri in person before booking an event.

We welcome guests to visit Goolabri for private events, when invited by a host. 

Public Events, by booking or for free

General members of the public are invited to visit Goolabri for public events such as live music events and public bar nights at The Wren.

What's On

Getting Here

Located just 10 minutes drive from Canberra, Goolabri is a private property at 202 Goolabri Drive, Sutton NSW. The venue is easily reached by sealed roads and provides ample free parking for all guests.

Quick Directions

11.8 km (approx. 10 minutes) by car from BP Watson, Canberra.

  1. Start at BP Watson on the Federal Highway, heading north toward Sutton.

  2. Take the overpass toward the United Service Station and join the Federal Highway Service Road and continue

  3. Turn right onto Goolabri Drive and follow it to the end

    • We are located in NSW so to ensure a smooth passage you need to book a taxi for you return trip home in advance

Parking & Venue Access

General

The Wedgetail Pavilion

Park in The Wedgetail Pavilion grass parking area. Walk to the far end of the parking area then turn left for pedestrian access the main entrance of The Wedgetail Pavilion.

The Garden Room

Park in the main car park and walk to the entrance pergola. Follow the paved path down to The Garden Room on your right.

The Wren

Park in the main car park and walk to the entrance pergola. Follow the paved path down past The Garden Room, to the terrace — The Wren entrance is on your left.

The Ceremony Lawn

Park in the main car park and walk to the entrance pergola. Follow the paved path down past The Garden Room and The Wren terrace, then continue right to the Ceremony Lawn.

Accessible

The Wedgetail Pavilion

Accessible parking is available at the service entrance to The Wedgetail Pavilion. This area is reserved for accessible parking only.
