The Wren
The Wren at Goolabri opens its doors to the public just once a month on a given Friday for a relaxed night of live music, local brews and friendly faces. Be prepared to hear anything with a bit of soul; from contemporary singer songwriters through to folk, bluegrass, jazz, blues and roots.
Wintery Friday evenings call for a rustic locale which feels like home and a hearty meal by an open fire. The bustle of warm bodies and some human connection are just what the doctor ordered.
The Wren opens its doors to the public just once a month, or whenever we can find the opportunity, so stay tuned for the latest dates!

19th JULY: ELECTRIC TOMMY JOHNSTON
Formed at the 2014 National Folk Festival and performing at the festival every year since; Electric Tommy Johnston bonded over their love of old school, blues, and the magnificent names of the people who produced it. From the rambling storytelling of Robert Johnson and Big Bill Broonzie to the lick fueled hard blues of BB King and Muddy Waters, from gospel to chain-gang, ETJ gently take blues by its roots and bring them back into the spotlight.
